the las collinas area is really hot right now. its has a lot of highway access. oh yeah hot women everywhere. most apartments have garages. the commute to downtown D is about 20 mins. DFW airport is 10 mins. Plano 15 mins.

SASD209 if your looking for some land in the GP/Arlington area there is some south of I-20. Mansfield area. I hope that helps. there is also Midlothian but its further south. i hope that helps.

public transportation in the DFW area as I have seen is pretty limited and you have to know the schedual of bus/train operating times

We have all those in vegas. I would think being in Texas there would be some non-chain steakhouse that would be the bomb diggity.

Well I know for fact there are alot of homes in the 140k to 200k range that are within 10 minutes of Countrywide and they are in nice neighborhoods.Traffic is much worse in Frisco or LC or lewisville not to mention having to use tollroads to get to work. This is the only one logical solution if you are going to work were he is looking and that is plano baby specifically along hegecoxe <10 minutes away most homes along that corridor are within 5 miles to his work. Don't make the mistake of coming on a weekend and thinking well dallas is only 18 miles away or las colinas is pretty close. trust me I drive the metroplex for a living and the traffic can rival LA at times and yes I did that there as well so I know.

There are only a few places that the trains work well i.e. live near the central line and work downtown within walking distance to the stops. Or live near the TRE and work downtown there are a couple other DART routes but I wouldn't live along those routes if you paid me.

Just hitting the chains for the rookies. Otherwise, take me to Sullivans or the Bob's on Lemmon.

I can imagine how bad traffic can be on a work day, but the time I have spent in Dallas were on long weekends, so i know I havent seen how bad traffic can be.
I wonder if taking the side streets would be faster?

If all else fails hop on your motorcycle....
