Pikes Peak Evo 6.5 in Austin *UPDATED W/ PICS*

New owner in Austin finishing an Evo 6.5 rally car that will be going to Pikes Peak in a couple weeks. Figured I should make friends with Evo people in Tx.

Car was supposed to run at the Spokes RallyX last week, unfortunately it will be set up for pavement on the rescheduled event on the 7th but will be there on display.

We could use an extra couple sets of hands, anybody want to come change tires at Pikes Peak?

Its in the paint booth waiting for the humidity to drop so we can finish painting. Here's an older picture from Rim 06

i went to the pikes peak race last year when i worked with an audi tuning shop in denver. those drives are crazy. before the race starts all the spectators drive to the top so you actually get to drive the course. there are no guard rails in some places with drops over 1000 feet. if any of you are going dress for winter weather. i was wearing shorts and a tee shirt because it was over 90 deg in denver but by the time you get to over 14000 feet it was snowing and cold as *****

Yeah my family came and spectated last year. None of them thought to bring any food, drinks or cold weather gear. They sat at Devils Playground for hours miserably. Needless to say, they're prepared this year!
