Bushings - Install in DFW area?

I'm looking for a shop that can press in some suspension bushings on the rear control arms for me. I haven't had any luck asking around so far. Also, I can bring them the arms loose off the car.

In the North Dallas area is preferable but I'd be willing to drive across town for the right place.

Thanks!

Hey I have a press and you are more than welcome to come buy and use it. Plus the wives can meet!

I might take you up on that if I can't find a shop that has experience doing it. I've seen it done but have never done it myself. I want to make sure I get them out without damaging the arms as well as press them in correctly. Heck, we could get together sometime for dinner or something anyways regardless. They can swap Cadbury stories

Racer, who is this "guy"?

Fazelli Mitsubishi, I-635 Mesquite. Ask for Brian Fabian and tell em' Gary sent you.
Did a great job for me.

Hey bud...give me a shout if you run out of options. I have a decent press and can fab up a press jig if need be to get it done.

You have a press!? I have the same bushings, the only reason they were not installed is because of the damn press. I may need to come up there one weekend soon. Then, I'll finally be Mueller, Stage 1.

2 actually - 6 ton and 12 ton. But I think there are probably quite a few folks up here in our circles who have access to one.

Sounds like we all need to get together and do a bushing install. Who's up for it?

It would be great if we had a place to disassemble the cars at the same time. We just don't have room for tech days since losing Don's old shop space.

I have access to a full auto shop on fort hood, but anyone else would have to have a DoD ID card in order to use it.

I could get on base with my AAFES credentials, but that would'nt really help anyone else in the group

I brought my control arms (and many other suspension parts) and bushings to Fifth Gear Motorsports in Lewisville. Rick Jordan, the shop manager, did a great job installing them.
