Moment of silence for playmajohn's car. It had a run in with a slick patch in the middle of a curve last night. Luckily he's a-ok from the report he gave me but will not be able to attend the tune now. Freed up another slot for the day or I'll just take it

Good to hear a fellow enthusiast is STILL in good health. Tough break...in the long run, it's just a car. Sorry buddy!

Josh or Chris...

If someone has ECUTEK tuning, is there a way to reset the ECU to be able to tune it like ours?

Friend of mine would like to get in on the tune but right now has an ECUTek flash. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to still get a tune using ECUflash with that in there....

EcuTek claims to lock the ecu but by using MalibuJack's patch you can get around that in a click of your mouse. As far as I'm concerned there is no issue in writing back over the whole thing with a regular map. It's so sad to see that company just bending people over with their licensing fees. Proof that in this market there is no tolerance for monopolistic practices. Viva la open source revolucion`!!! Get him in contact with me Van and I'll put him in the spot that is open.

Just 3 more cars to go and I'm done on my end btw

It is an EVO correct? I can get around the EVO's no problem, but the technology does not exist for a subaru that I am aware of.

The gentleman that we're talking about is "4g63lo" on this site. He has an EVO....a very nice one at that. Built engine too! Just has a crappy tune in it right now.
