Anyone in SA getting a X?
Is anyone getting a X right away? I may get one, but it will be around a year. They are supposed to be in this week, so I plan on checking one out at least. Just curious.

I got rid of my IX a couple of months ago and picked up the GSX. I'd been to a couple of get-togethers, but nothing for a while. I kinda miss my car, but I'll have plenty to keep me busy with the GSX

Yeah I talked to them yesterday and they have a $5-7K "market adjustment" tacked on the msrp. Not only that, but the salesman said they were the #1 Mitsu dealer in the nation and the first to sell the X. He didn't like it when I broke the news to him that they have been on sale in CA for over a week, and that there is a dealer selling them below msrp. He said "you can't believe everything you read." What a tool.

0% for 72 months on X's
Gillman in SA just got 3 Graphite Gray GSRs in today. Also, they have a TV ad running that says they are offering 0% financing for 72 months on ALL new Mitsu cars on their lot. A salesman said today that included the new X. He also said they wouldn't have a market adjustment. I'm dropping by tomorrow to check them out and verify the 0% (which I HIGHLY doubt is true for the X). I'll give you guys an update when I find out.

I just thought about this and wanted to clarify something. The 0% is not an MMNA special. It is something Gillman is doing to entice people to buy from them instead of the other 2 Mitsu dealers in town.
There is no way that Gillman can give you 0% financing on their 08 evos. If they could do it, everyone could do it because we all use the same bank MMCA (Mitsubishi Motor Credit of America). I think they are just trying to get you in the door with false advertising. Once you get there they feel like the car will sell itself so you would pay more. Dont be fooled, unfortetly it is a game that a lot of dealerships play its called bait and switch.
I went to see an Evo X at metro mitsubishi here in SA. OMG that thing has got no quality. I mean... the previous Evo IX showed way more quality then this new piece of crap. I mean I was sincerely disappointed! I am a bigger fan of the Evo IX the way it looks, the quality(although it's not better then subaru) it is way better then the Evo X, also the engine layout is better thought out in the Evo IX. The Evo X is every way worse then any generation Evo ever created. Who cares if the car handles the slightest bit better if it weighs 200lbs more? With a few bucks here and there an Evo IX can outhandle an EVO X no problem.

I went and checked them out yesterday as well. Although I do like it quite a ibt, I'm not getting one anytime soon. And to 0% is not on the EVOs, just the other Mitsus. Yes they can offer 0% financing if they buy down the points, which is what they are doing. It's not a bait and switch, although I'm sure you'll need very good credit to get the 0%.
