Grapevine "supermeet" March 8th

Grapevine "supermeet" March 8th
Hello Everyone,
Long time since I have posted and it's good to be back on the boards. I was spending way too much time on those silly Honda forums trying to figure out how to make my Fit look faster.
It has been even longer since we have had our Grapevine meet, so let's start off the new year with a bang!
As the title implies, this will be a SUPERMEET, meaning that we have partnered with other local car clubs and they will be joining us after dinner (Nissan, Toyota, etc.). Not only that, we will have some VERY SPECIAL things planned as well as some prizes for some lucky attendees. You don't want to miss this one!
Due to the size of the meet, this will be held on a Saturday versus our standard Thursday. We will move dinner to 7-7:30 so that we can all have time to eat and then caravan to the supermeet. Please try to be on time. We don't want to leave anyone behind.
The location of the supermeet is still being decided. We are thinking about holding it in the Grapevine Mills parking lot or possibly in the Southlake Town Center Garage. If any of you work or know someone in local government, we could sure use some help in securing a location. Please PM me if you can help!!!
And as always, please be mindful when we are in public. Since this may have the potential to be the biggest meet yet, please refrain from racing, driting, burnouts, neon, VTEC, etc. I am also making sure the other club coordinators are aware of this as well. We have a good reputation and I would like to keep it that way n00bs!
Please stay tuned as the info may change at a moment's notice. Since we have so many people coming, things are bound to get a little hairy! Please come out and support us at this event. It will be a great time!

1. Increased turnout and mall security - We've had dinner meets at Fudruckers before and the management has always been nice and never had a problem with us standing around in their parking lot. If the weather isn't bad we could have 50+ cars, if we have the meet at a restaurant people can eat first and we won't be loitering when we stand around outside.
2. Weather - If it's 50 degrees outside having somewhere warm (with free refills) to go stand and talk in will be pretty nice.
I called Fudruckers just a minute ago and let them know we would be coming and reserved the back room. They're open till 11pm. The only problem I think people might have is parking:
Each one of those blue boxes is 5 parking spots. Just around the front ot Fudds there are almost 65 spots, and down the alley to What-a-burger there are 35. Even if 75 cars show up some people can go eat and park at What-a-burger. I know this isn't the ideal situation but it should work out just fine!
So if you want to come and have dinner be there at 8:00 if not 9:00.

looks like all the other forums are meeting up around 7 for dinner and then to meet, every one is going to be eating at fuddruckers. dont know anyother places around there

um i might make it if i make enough money this week(to pay for my red girlfriend
) and get my shift covered.
