Are you getting new window rubber/mole skin or going just tint and seeing how it turns out? Some people have had no problems and others have had lots.

That will be a little out of the way for me. I am meeting EVOSomeday at Custer and Plano Pkwy. Does that work for you? Otherwise meet at 35E and 121. Check your PM box for my phone number let me know.

You can also check my tint strip on my dot matrix. It went on very clean. Then again the place I took it to for the tinting is awesome. The guy totally backs his work up 100% and is very professional. He is located off Mcdermott in Plano.

Tonight is going to be great. Look forward to it.

Custer/Plano Pkwy is a bit out of the way for me. I live right off of 121, so it's almost a straight shot for me to Lewisville.

Either way, I hope to be there by 7-7:30.

So meet at 121 and 35E. That's the midpoint for both us. Call me when you get there and I will do the same if I get there first.

Lifetime Warranty FTW!

See yall out there in a few hours, and if anyone knows the guy with the white evo x that was supposed to be getting all the buschur stuff put on last week, tell him to come so he can give me a ride in the car now that his catback should be on it

goofygrin: dude your clutch has some sort of problems I promise you. When you pulled out in front of that other gg evo and me all we both smelled was clutch. Even when I was first breaking mine in it never smelled anywhere close to that. I'd have mitsu take a look at that man next time you take it in.

Was a fun meet tonight hopefully we can get some more people there next time. I'm looking forward to the pictures. For those of you that left early...you missed out on some wild but good times. Near death experiences and 350z violation

Dude... that thing was awesome tonight. Best car meet ever in my opinion. Great crowd and everyone was very cool.

I can hardly wait to see all those pictures and videos. I know there was some really good stuff tonight. A few good videos of me boosting around on the highway and everyone driving around the parking lot and.. hahah.. a surprise brake check video coming soon. :-)

Next time, I will bring my digital video too so I can record as well.

If I remember correctly we had.... a silver X, a red X, two red IX RS, a grey IX MR, and black IX, and my red VIII. Oh yeah and a silver.. mirage? I think I got them all.

That and a white loping Corvette Z06 - good lord that thing is fast - and loud.

What a blast. Can't wait until the next one.

I too have the dots and the tint strip as well. No issues at all. I guess I forgot to show you while I was there but maybe you saw it.

BTW, what is this mole skin you all speak of?

I mean the video was nothing like the track day or anything like that. We had to try very hard and resist to not make the cars experience their full potential on the public streets. Nonetheless though it still is fun to watch a bunch of Evos cruizing around. So no flamin!

P.S. Uploading vids now.

I was slipping the clutch a bit, but that's how it smelled from day one. I thought initially that it was the shipping oil burning off the exhaust, obviously I was wrong on that account. I know that a lot of people have complained about the softness of the clutch, but the stink I get is a little silly.

I'll have them check it when I go in to get that hail pop touched up. I've been driving stick shift for 16 years (only owned one slushbox -- in 2002) and have *never* smelled a clutch before -- even when I was learning to drive in the mountains (which btw, fiat uno + new stick driver + mountains = lots of stalls == in case you were wondering ).

On the X's the window wiper thingee is hard rubber (not felt lined) and causes scratches. A lot of people put this glue on felt on the wiper and it helps, but might leave glue lines (among other things).

When I was at the tint shop, they had a new Scion xB getting tinted and the front has the dot matrix too and it looked alright. The other option they gave was to cut around the dot matrix, but I don't think I'll be doing that

Alright, I'm sure Justin will upload his patch of pictures here. I uploaded my batch over at LancerLogic. Not trying to force sign ups or anything guys, but when I don't attach them, they get lost when you have to move servers and such, etc. Also, don't hate on my site right now, its looking a little boo boo because I just switched domain names. I will have it back to an even sexier look here very soon.

BTW, I would like to thank everyone who made it out this evening, it wouldn't have been such a successful meet without you guys coming out. It was my first gathering, and I'd say it turned out well. I am planning another one as we speak. What is a good location, Lewisville for some seem to be a hassle?
