I GOT IT AND I LOVE IT!!!

Here's some pics I took this morning. It's covered in bugs.

The fingerprints on the snorkel are from me doing a boost leak check. The only leak is in the throttle linkage on the throttlebody and it's VERY minor. Just a barely audible hiss... I'll address it but not for a while

On a closed course in controlled conditions on the way home I ran into a 350Z. Pulled him pretty good from about 60. Not what i expected at all. It feels much slower than my SRT-4 but i was plesantly surprised to be able to get away.

Ya I wanted a stock one. Doing the work is half of the joy of ownership for me. Also, I'm going to go more of the track route. 300-350 WHP although the 2.3 sure would be nice on an autocross.

 

Only if you don't mind running in like A Modified or wherever that would put you. But that's another thread.

I'm glad you like it. Looks like the drive home was fun. I wish we could have met. oh one more thing I didn't launch the car. I figured I'd let you abuse the clutch.

 

The clutch is rediculous. If it's stock i'm SUPER impressed. I thought the guy was just saying it was replaced. I went out the other day in the rain so it wouldn't be as hard on the car and launched it for the first time. It was insane.

 

he said it was the Exedy stock replacement.
