If this goes well i'm goign to pay an independant mechanic to check it you. I could also use mechanic recomendations in the area.

 

That seems to be a good price its an SSL w/moon roof, leather, and the fosgate sound system. I own the same model except mine is a IX. I have had mine for almost two years and my cousin had an 8 ssl for a while. I will not say i am an expert on evos but i definetly know what to look for. Im 20 mins from arlington pm if you dont get any other responses.

It's a dealership.. probably not going to happen.

The car looks pretty good from the pictures. Definately very stock. It's hard to know anything more then that without hearing it run, feeling the ride and the steering, and shifting through the gears.

Would also be a good idea to check the body panels to make sure they all have a VIN sticker on them and check all the bolts to see if they have been turned. That would give you an indication of some replaced body panels.

But that would have to be done in person. I would probably do this for you but Arlington is a long way away.

As far as price -- that's a good price for the car. I would say about $3K under what it could be sold for. Just my opinion.

I don't want an RS though... i REALLY want ABS and power windows sure are nice.

It might have a voided warranty, but it looks like it's for sale by a tote your note dealer and they likely have no idea what kind of warranty it has and they don't want people coming back to them for warranty support.

I wouldn't want an RS either because I don't have mad strong arms to crank them windows

I agree with evo someday its a good price. White SSL Evo's are pretty hard to find. Deninetly need to have someone drive the car to check for engine/tranny noises and see how the clutch feels a few hard bad launches on the stocker and

I saw the car at AnB Automotive weeks ago,
I was referred by a mechanic friend for very honest work and was trying to talk an MSR friend to buy it.
After all of my mods, a stock Evo looks very inticing indeed..
