The problem is in order to get the $15 price per kit, Abusive had to order 100 feet of of the same-coloured four-gauge. Personally, the color doesn't really matter to me as long as the kit is functional. If you really need blue, you can try buying it from crutchfield.com

Look at the "Basic 4 Gauge Primary Wire". You can get it in blue at $1.25 per foot.

Thanks Wombat for the info.... I bought 20' of yellow and im gonna try and make one myself..... I like to keep my self busy with stuff liek this.....Im still looking for the ring terminals and cant find anywhere that will sell them as chep as you are getting them for.... are you gettting them from the same place??


ANyway Ill probably have left over cable and I may make another kit if it turns out pretty good.

If so Ill sell it to someone one the board.

Although the terminals aren't yellow so you might have to do something creative to make yellow ones...

 

I might swing by saturday morning to say hi. I'll be down at Maxwell at 8:30AM getting the car serviced for the recall. If I'm out of there at a reasonable time I might be able to stop by. I think Wombat might live in my neck of the woods anyways.

Got the ring terminals yesterday and UPS is going to deliver the wire today.

 

the wire is SWEET! It looks similar to a braided brake line. very sweet.

 

Im gonna go to the hobby shop down here and get some heat shrink tubing and match the color.... =)
