Group buy on grounding kit supplies
I went ahead and emailed them about the ridiculous shipping charges on what costs $6.30, and this is what they had to say:
"Thank you for contacting Procura.com. Our shipping charges are higher due to a handling fee. However, this shipping cost seems too high. Please reply with your order number and we will adjust the wt to: 17.96"

To those who showed up for the ground kit install, I had a lot of fun. It was great to meet ya'll and I'm glad to know some other Evo owners in town. Here are some initial thoughts of mine about my car after the grounding kit install.
The idle is not noticeably different from before, at least not that I could tell.
Throttle response is smoother by a miniscule amount although that could be the placebo effect taking place. But I'm almost convinced that the car accelerates smoother than before.
Power is no different really, certainly not from the butt dyno.
The best thing (which was what I hoping to get out of the ground kit) is that overall electrical stuff seems a bit better. My headlights seem brighter (wider dispersion area) than before. Interior gauges seem brighter as well.
All in all, a fairly good $15. Plus now I know how to pull off the airbox w/o damaging the MAS.
thanks everyone, I had a great time.

Here's my thoughts.
My car idles a bit smoother. Before there seemed to be more vibration.
Acceleration is noticeably smoother throughout the rpms. Not sure about power gain but it feels much better at high rpms.
Also noticed that my headlights are brighter. Didn't notice anything with my gauges.
Overall I'm pretty satisfied.
I should have the other kits ready to ship Tuesday or Wednesday.
Thanks for everyone coming out. It was great to meet some other EVO owners in the area.

We got a few shocking looks from some of the neighbors. It's not often you see an EVO let alone 5 parked out front.

Alright, my thoughts on this install. The install wasn't too bad. Only one bolt was a pain in the booty. The others were cake. The car does idle smoother, my headlights are brighter, interior lights brighter, basically anything electrical is better. But that's what I expected from the grounding kit. I'm not sure about more hp or anything, although my fuel mileage to dallas and back sunday with a/c on and travelling at about 80mph was better. I hit a high for me of 26 mpg. It was money well spent. Thanks for the get together and a pleasant saturday.
My take..........
Install was nothing too bad. Don't know about the added hp claims because before the install hadn't gotten on the car hardly at all. Headlights are definitely brighter and as Tim said probably did wonders for the electrical system. Overall, I would say it was well worth the time and money.
