We'll be there. The Evo will actually be doing hot laps supposedly to keep the crowd on their toes. If anybody is lacking on safety equipment PM me I know of some smokin deals.. better than the LeMons site.

How's everyone's car coming along?

We have most of the safety system parts ready to install, just waiting for everything to get up to the shop. Finally got the car fired up last week... the first time in 6+yrs. Shoots some nice flames open header and revs to 8K with ease.

wouldn't mind doing it but you'd trash $500 at least- it would be fun though

You'll trash a lot more than $500. You'll spend $500 each just on safety equipment.

Wait, do people make money racing?!?!

You certainly have to spend a fair amount of money, but I don't consider it throwing away money.

That's the hardest part of racing to get over.. Convincing yourself that the hole you're throwing your money into is worth the fun

Haha, so true. I figure my budget is much smaller than even a backmarker club racer's for an enduro event, so I can't fret too much. Maybe I'll run it as an IT car next year.

Here's a pic of the car once we got it up to my old house in DFW:

And here the pile is at Rotary Performance looking almost complete:

Some local companies really stepped up to the plate to make this car happen. Big thanks to:
Zero Hour Motorsports
Alamo Autosports
Rotary Performance
Pro-Tuning Performance

Build log can be found on DI: http://www.dallasimports.net/forums/...owtopic=109805
