I'll have my wife and 2.5 year old, so I won't be doing 120+ runs in the canyons

Everyone,

The speed of this drive should be moderate. Like goofygrin said, no runs of 120mph through the canyons. Just a nice Saturday drive for car enthusiast. There might be some spots were we can open them up a little but again not too much. If some wants to drive fast through the turns, either allow enough space between you and the car ahead of you so you can get a good "run" at the turn or drive in the front of the group.

Normally during the s2000 drives, the faster drives stayed at the front while the slower ones were in the rear of the pack.

I will post some info on the pace of the drive in a little bit.

Great read!

(I used to ride a bike, but there's no way I'm going to here in Dallas!)

LOL. I'm 31 and still have all of my wisdom teeth! I think it's a scam to get them pulled if they aren't causing any problems!

There are some great roads out by Glen Rose. That would be a long drive just to get there to start the drive (not that Denton isn't far). Also, there are some really great roads just north of Austin. Maybe sometime we could take a weekend trip to Austin and join up with the Austin Evo crowd and all go on a drive. Eat lunch and dinner in Austin, stay the night in Austin after the drive, then drive back to Dallas Sunday morning. Its a long shot but it could be fun. I will research the roads in that area and see what I come up with.

There's a track there in the Hill Country (between Austin and San Antonio) that was trying to get us to come down. We all said no. Now that the weather's a bit nicer, I think we might ought to see if they are down for us to come in again
