Evo Drive & Lunch Saturday 9/13
From the computer models I've seen, they predict the eye of the storm (whats remaining) to somewhere over San Antonio or Austin on noon Sat. 13th. This will probably give us T-storms.

Those old country roads become very slippery when wet because of all the build up of oil and exhaust between rains. This will definately effect our driving speeds and enjoyment. Thats all we need is someone sliding off the road into a ditch and possibly flipping their car.
We can easily postpone the drive until Saturday the 20th. I have no problems with that. Same times, same place, etc, just a different Saturday.
We should make a group decision here. Do we continue the drive or cancel it due to rain? Goofygrin, I would type "postpone" next to the peoples names on the list, so we can get an idea of who wants to postpone. If enough people postpone, we will just drive on the 20th.
I vote "postpone" Too much to risk, on a brand new car.

I will be getting up early checking the weather making a decision and posting it then.
I am not giving up that easily. Just wanted to get the word out that the event may get postponed so everyone can prepared for the "makeup" day.

Looking at the updated radar and the weather for Denton on Saturday, we might be ok, only after 1 p.m. will there be a 60% chance of rain, by then we will be finished with the drive and lunch. Here is the link:
