You have to kick people when they're down or going down.... its the american GREEDY way right?

What a bunch of pieces of crap. People getting ready to get nailed by a huge storm and the first thing the gas ****** see is $$$$$$. Why not steal from their pockets while they're about to get boned!

People suck!

So you say gas would take a week to go up .50 cents? It went up over .40cents overnight by my house at our new QT. So i'm guessing it's going to take another 6 days to go up .10 cents? hmmm kinda wonder about your "common sense"

Im sorry but what has our country become. When the threat of anything makes gas spike higher then a MLB players pee sample on steroids we got a problem. $5.00 a gallon in some parts of Florida and in Alabama gas prices didnt even rise. What is going on here.

The price of gas does spike in and around regions when a hurricane is about to hit. I witnessed this several times when I lived in FL ( in the panhandle). They spiked about 50 cents when Ivan rolled through back in 04. There were long lines just before and just after. I had to go on a Sunday morning to get gas and waited over an hour. And that was relatively short. This spike has nothing to do with the price of a barrel of oil. As a matter of fact, the price for a barrel of oil is continuing to drop. Like someone said earlier, it has more to do with the interruption of refinery production and greed.
