pulling the stock spoiler off??

so i get kinda stir crazy with my car, and ive decided no more money spending untill xmas. i get bored if my car dosnt change.
i really like the stock spoiler, and i really like the RS look.

so i figured taking off the spoiler for a week, then putting it back on, changing the look up every once in a while makes me not so crazy.

anyways, im worried about the adhesive, it just holds it down right? because after a few times of changing it wont stick anymore.. i just have to tighten the bolts right?? id really like to not f my spoiler.

If you plan on taking it off then putting it back on so often when you take it off for the first time, remove all the adhesive and replace it with a soft thin foam. That'll keep the scratches down and the bolts should be plenty to hold the wing on minus adhesive tape.

Id try goo gone first. Body shops have an "eraser wheel" they might charge you a couple bucks or do it for free depending and take about 20 seconds to zip off the adhesive left on your trunk. once the adhesive is off your trunk, give it a nice wax job to protect against the foam. (even soft stuff might scratch if its slightly vibrating.) As for foam, just go to your local parts store and see what they have. If it feels abrasive, it will be. lol

Another one falls to the Darkside. The spoiler makes the car "pop". To each his own I guess though.

it scratched, chipped, and broke a huge chunk out of the corner... and im a neat freak.. and i cant put that back on my car...
