And by a senior leader/doctor, thats suppose to be helping those that need mental guidance upon their return from deployments.

Yeah, its pretty sad. My heart goes out to the families that lost loved ones, and to those who have family that live at Hood that have experience these kind of issues. I for one was extremely worried about my wife and kids because I cant be home to protect them. But I will say this, Major or not, he is still a human being and this kind of stuff happens. Yeah I would think being a Major, he would know how to identify these issues with oneself, but the guy probably did not want to come forward and say he has a problem being the fact he was a Major. Either way its BS.

Anyway, who all has facebook? I'd like to add some of the guys on our thread here. If you want to add me, just type in Robert Petty in the find for friends section. Stay safe everyone, and watch eachothers backs.

My family and I are doing well. I'm glad my mother-in-law was not hurt as she works at SRP.

Glad you guys are ok, sad this had to happen. Noone should have to be worried about this in the USA, none the less on a military base. Where I work, security went up Thursday night where every car was searched going in and out

It goes to show that we all need help regardless of what our professions are or what rank we wear on our chests. My heart goes out to the families of those that have lost loved ones and also to the Soldiers that were there as this will certainly have an effect on them as well.

Monkey, I know the feeling as sometimes our nerves will get the better of us. I felt the same way when I heard about it two days ago.

It is a f***ed up thing that happened here on post and things are not the same in the area. Security is really high, barracks inspections have gone up. I cant wait for them to come and ask to see my house. I will be questioned for a while:

I have been sick, Steve and Josh were sending each other sick text. They would of made you want to break the screen on your phone. Thats the reason why I yacked.
