so i'm about to get 500 to spend on the evo. what should i start with? i just picked up a tsudo exhaust for SUPER cheap. sounds great and feels very responsive. watchu guys think?

also, got my orders to polk cut. phew! but then i got the news that we're deploying in may.

Downpipe and test pipe since u have a catback

 

Boost controller...dp...tune...that's prob about it with 500 to spend

Unless you can find some more super cheap parts...tune's gonna run 300 alone..

 

Hey man, how do you like those fic injectors your running? I have the same ones I will be installing saturday before we tune?

 

Well I have a turbosmart mbc. Seen a few dp's for ok price. Where's the hot spot for tuning?

 

Let Mellon tune ur car, it's gonna be an etune but at least ur **** won't blow up or make 30 less ho and 60 leas torque than other Tuners maps. Honestly just a downpipe isn't worth buying a tune. Wait until u get a better bov, intake and hard licp at least

 

That's what I was thinking. I'm just gonna wait til I hoard all my parts, come back and then tune. Until then I guess I just use The 500 for cosmetics

question bc i dont think people in the tuning forum and engine building know what the deal is, I was under the impression that the factory EVO X fuel rail was only good to about 450whp max and that was even pushing it. I know with more boost and bigger injectors you need to upgrade the fuel rail so that the injector has enough fuel to pull from. am i wrong? does ams and boomba and all the other companies just make a fuel rail for show bc thats what MURLO 26 is saying

 

The injectors are great...idle like stock...Kevin really got them dialed in correctly...and I'm able to run e85 on them so that's good with me...
