QUESTION....INPUT requested from the local scene, please. I know you guys talk alot and have experience in piecing builds. My sig has my current mods. I am looking to do a couple things to the Evo when I return from deployment. I am the guy with the BBY Evo 8 that came out every few weeks (George). Here are two topics I would like your input/opinion on:

1) Upgrade TB and different intake manifold (currently tuned on 91, would like to tune on 93 but possibly add a part or two to help increase performance that much more)

2) Short shifter

I am not ready to rop money on a motor yet and E-85 is not practicle for me. What experience/recommendations do you guys have? Please send your response to my message box if possible. I do not log on much and it would be easier to check my message box versus scrolling through the forum. Thanks and see u guys in a few months!!!!

Had to work till late on Fri. I checked that target thing out a few weeks ago. I now know why I thought it sucked. There was like 8 cars there. I guess we were the few that didn't get the word it moved to a different place.

 

Ya it got moved , it was a good turnout last night and we had a little Evo on Evo action and also Evo on subie action

Thanks for the input I got from a couple of you! I sent replies. Upon furthur research, looks like the option is between the Buschur ported IM or the MAP Rev.3 IM and the Mil.Spec 65mm TB or the Buschur 65mm TB. My goal is happy medium of power and drivability/streetable. Any opinions?? I really like the MAP Rev.3 IM. These are pretty much my last mods before dropping a motor. Not interested in dropping that cash when my motor is working just fine, U KNOW!!

yeah it's getting tuned sometime next week. i didnt want to be messing with the car while on my block leave so i went ahead and had them take care of it while im still here in iraq.

yeah imma be all 30 days in orlando but im making that 17 hr drive back up to ft. hood again.

no one runnin a red here that i know of , u doin 93 octane or e85?
