seems like a story you would make up when you actually hurt yourself doing something much more foolish. for example: "yeah I was ironing some clothes and i accidentally burned myself on the iron" as opposed to saying: "i was trying to baste the turkey but didn't feel like grabbing the baster so I just started scooping juices onto the bird with my bare hands" i feel your pain though bro
