Well, after inspection, the freeze plug on the water pump is the part that failed (or worked like it should)! I am going to DH to see about getting one pressed in, or I may just replace the water pump since the car has 104k miles on the clock. Anyone around that has changed a water pump before interested in giving me a hand?

I'd have to get it towed over there, there is no water at all in the cooling system.. Otherwise I would have definitely brought it over.
