As it stands right now. Looks like the Texas Mitsubishi Shootout will be taking place on Saturday, June 20th Event hours will be from 3pm till midnight @ the San Antonio Raceway.

I'm working on vendors and will post them up as they commit as well as competing categories.

So far this is the tentative date, if by chance there is a change, it will be for an early July Saturday. But so far It's looking like June 20th

So pass the word along, get those Evo's ready and let's get on track to make this a huge successful event!

what kinda events are you planning on having? just drag or the fun stuff like time attack or the skill of dodging cones ? And is jus strictly evos or can i bring some of my friends with supras?

 

San Antonio Raceway is just a drag strip. I'd imagine you should bring whoever you can, the more the better. Keep in mind that the main event is going to be the whole evo/dsm/mitsu theme. I will probably have myself and 3 or 4 other evos and other kinds of cars as well. It should be pretty fun.

 

My son and I will be attending as well. I'm not too sure what turbo setup we'll be running at the time, due to testing and R&D, but we still plan on making it. If class rules don't allow the slicks, we may have to go with TnT, but a run is a run and that's all that really matters.

 

Please, whatever you guys do, do not schedule it June 27th-28th, thats the Floating the Guadalupe River trip. I know the tentative date has been set already as June 20th, but please, not the 27th-28th.

Maybe after 4th of July?

 

how about a little earlier maybe may or april cooler temps?
