So after i finally got off my butt and put my clutch in and have finally gotten the brake in miles done. I got invited by some people from my work to kennedale tomorrow, i know alot of people don't like the 1/8th or how it is kinda bumpy , but its close and i need to finish tuning it with some new power adders.

If anyone wants to come I should be there for a good while seeing how it should fluctuate anywhere from 50-65 degrees tomorrow.

If you'd like to come out and log your car i will have my laptop there so we can see if your car knocks when you run in through all the gears etc, w/e just to kill some time.

nice nice my car was too dirty to clean so i ran dirty . Managed a 1.7 60ft and a 7.92 1/8th.

 

7.9 is pretty moving, i see a low 12 coming your way..

 

im trying to get some people out to kennedale when claudio gets his car done you down.

 

I try to go just about every sunday. Do you go up there pretty often? I hang out with my two friends one has an cobra and the other an srt-6 crossfire. I see a evos from time to time but not that often. One says he has a virtually stock evo 9 who consitently clicks off 7.7s-7.8s. Its makes me sick but I am impressed. I believe that he uses no lift to shift.

 

that would be absolutely crazy to get a 7.7 stock but i don't believe it even with no lift to shift,a 7.7 stock evo should be running low 12's on the 1/4 mile which just isn't possible. I would say he should run around 8.7-8.9 stock which is around 13.3 in the 1/4 mile. Is that cross fire light blue? and a black guy drives it? If so i saw him there and he was running around 7.9 as well. I usually don't go out there that much but now that i have a new clutch i might be out there every now and then.

 

i dont think the evo is stock, im pretty sure just basic bolt ons. if it is silver 9 and white guy driving it then i know who your talking about

 

"basically" stock can mean alot, i didn't noticed you typed that . like me i'm running an intake,fp, tbe, and 02 thats all for power mods and managed a 7.92 if he has what i have then ya with good driving he can pull it off. But completely stock there is no way.

danny i bet you can get a 7.8 at least with that clutch of yours.

i ran 8.6 stock.

7.8 with act street disc, exhaust, intake, injen pipes, mbc, and kevind tune on 93 with all of my crappy rs interior still inside including spare. high 7.9's with ex girlfriend inside.

and then when i went e85 with same mods plus 880's, my turbo timer claims i ran a 7.4, but my 8th mile run was going around a corner and up a hill...LOL with a 11.7 quarter. the second time i tried it was a 11.8 quarter mile still with 7.4 8th. i did this with andrew zaragoza in my car too... thats a lot of extra weight.
