I was watching one of those 'top 50 car chases' on tv. and on almost every single one, the perp only gets goin' to like 100, or 110.
And I'm watching like 'really...really...thats the best chase'
and I figure if anyone with an evo ran from a cop it would totally be the best chase video ever because....c'mon.

At the track, I get like 4-5 mpg. 14.5 gallon tank and I'm going less than 75 miles.

Most chases caught on camera are limited to about 100 because there's traffic or other speed limiting circumstances. Also, people who have an advantage (good car/ head start) are never even caught on camera.

Not many people get away, but if they do and it's caught on tape, do you think they are going to release the tape?

I have seen two different videos of stolen evo's in the UK dissappearing on cops. Given out there the cops drive beaters.

 

its fun, scary, and most of all stupid. take it from an experienced idiot....dur, um, i mean driver.

 

lol youtube has a vid of a yellow 8 being chased by a cop, and it disapears lol

 

It's soooooooo much easier on two wheels, especially if your already cruising at an incredibly stupid high rate of speed as your passing through a radar trap.......so I've been told.

 

if they showed the videos of people getting away, people would know how easy it is and everyone would start trying it

 

just watched a guy on a motorcycle do like 80 into the side of a bus running from the police on spike tv

 

Saw a video on youtube of a couple blowing through an intersection in a truck and getting wiped out by a semi while running from the long arm of the law because they decided they wanted to steal a riding mower

 

Yeah I am so used to running from them on my bike LOL...yeah they only show the cars that do 110 bc those are the only ones that they catch.

 

lol all the cops i know saw they don't really bother with bike chases, he just says " they'll end up fall and crashing on their own time, so why bother".
