I was thinking about getting some aftermarket wheels but not until I can find a good shop that can mount and balance them correctly.
lol why is it that everyone assumes its hard to find someone who wont jack up the wheel?? i mounted my nto3s with no problems. (and i was doing it quickly) they only way to "jack" a wheel up is if it is::: 1. a ****ty wheel 2. a ****ty paint job 3. a combo of both.

sean if it means anything to you, im the guy people bring the really expensive stuff I.E. 24s, bmws with super crazy run flat tires (run flats are ULTRA stiff which makes it alot harder) drag slicks, antique cars. and i do it all w/o damaging anything.

and about the OEM (hammer on) wheel weights scratching your rims.. that is almost unpreventable. that is 100% mitsubishis mistake. the guys at NTB probably just took them off like normal. and the "flat head screwdriver" scratches are from the weight. the tool we use to take them off does not even come in contact with the wheel its self.
just an FYI. but if your legitimately pissed off, take them back and demand a fix.

Here is what the 18X10.5 RPF1 looks like. I should have thrown something in there for scale but these things are crazy wide. I love'm!

so you're not acknowledging that the person installing/unstalling isn't at fault for jacking up my wheels? but rather the three things you pointed out? the installer was definately at fault. i've contacted their customer service folks who are are relaying my issue with the district manager.

if you've seen my wheels you would agree that the person installing the tires were negligent. i used to install motorcycle tires/wheels for a living, i know how wheels can be damaged.

sean, if you decide to get nto3s, be prepared to spend alot of time to clean them.. thats the one thing i dont like about mine, very hard to clean, 12 spokes, the support ring, then the inside of that... quite a workout

no I got the RPF1's above. for an 18x10.5 they weigh 19 pounds. That's in forged territory.

Very nice Sean! I can't wait to drive it!

When you burn through that set, you can have the left over 295's from the Vette

4. hillbilly wedding Just go to the reception
5. NTEC meeting This is a must
6. Roll fenders See above, especially for those tires

285/30/18 is one aggressive fitment... hope a roll is all I need to do... then again, this is a track setup only.
Sounds like a fun/busy weekend. My suggestions above.
