forgot why i dont go to kwik kar *rant*

they still have not learned how to drive standard... after driving up in my car, i go inside and i can hear my car idling.. then CLUNK.. stalled.. i look down and say oh god not this guy again... starts up... WAAAAAAA WAAAAAA PA PA PA WAAAAAA.. freaking 2step!!! he seriously hit my 2step.. all i could think about was him launching my car into a brick wall..

anyways, he finnaly gets up to the drive thru part, and cannot get the car on the rollers. after a few more times of stalling it, he 2-steped it... AGAIN. only this time he kinda launched.. after finnaly getting thru the tunnel he tried to drive it out and i walked over and told him not to. i had to drive it out.. my clutch smelled as if i had let a kid try to learn how to drive a manual.

GOD i was pissed!

i can't remember the last time i let anyone drive my car (short of other owners)
a shop that won't let me drive it up on the rack etc doesn't get my business

i tell em i want to hang onto the key and i'll meet the mechanic at my car
then i tell the mechanic that it has a racing clutch etc and they always let me drive it up

Man that sucks. I would have been freaking out. What is your 2 step set at? I can't imagine someone reving the car that high with the clutch in who wasn't just learning how to drive a standard...

Same thing happened to me just last monday at a drive thru car wash around the corner from my work on Mockingbird. I usually wash my own car but didn't have time prior to the meet last tuesday so I decided to get a full detail inside and out the day before. I told the guy what I wanted done to the car and he said fine, just leave the keys in the car and we'll pull it through after we vacuum the interior. He told me to go inside and pay which I did, but before doing so I warned him about my clutch and he said, "no problem we get souped up cars in here all of the time, we can handle it". Long story short..... when it came time for that same guy to move my car towards the wash he kept stalling it, then out of frustration (I guess) he just revs it up like he's about to go racing or something. I walked out there to see what the f'ing problem was and apparently he's never seen or heard a two step before because he complained that something was wrong with my clutch which is why it made the popping sound (rev limiter). I ended up driving my car to the rollers without a problem of course. Same thing nearly happened at Discount Tire last friday.
