So, I had an 08 R6 a few months ago and totaled it. I've been all sad the past few months until yesterday...I was tired of the evo not running and had to get my fix, so it was time. My buddy works at Cowboy Honda, and got me straight to the bottom line price on this used bike, so I got it, and I LOVE it.

I wish I knew how to ride...at the same time I'm scared I'd kill myself a little too soon. How do the bikes compare?

 

It's incredible. My dream bike, I love it. It's still scary, I won't full throttle it. Yet.

I always thought that until I got one...and yea I've definitely almost died but it's been worth it. Most fun I've ever had (besides the evo). I feel like I could maneuver the R6 easier, the R1 is a little bigger, and a lot more powerful. Still very fun. Very similar.

you always have to have the safety gear. even when its 90 F. I recommend the safety course to any new rider. just some advise.

 

^^^^ shut up nerd....lol!!! j/p , yeah my uncle died on a dead stop at a stop light, he got hit from behind and flip over the handle bar and hit his head.... died couple days later... i dont ride em' ut if u do... get them fly *** helmets and jackets...

 

its cool. I know from stunting and carving them corners. The asphalt dont forgive. Sorry to hear about your uncle. Thats never a good story to hear. People need to watch out for bikes.

 

hey man sry about the old r6.. i own a 05 r6 raven lov it to death... i got to sit on the new r1 felt good lov the sound but was a lil heavy from what im used to... glad your enjoying it
