. My fastest run with my old 400whp tune was 12.1 @ 116 i did a vbox run on the street spinning tires on the 500whp setup and managed a 11.4 @ 124 with a ****ty 60ft i can assure you my car was not slow at all. Honestly man, i got bored of it. I wanted a new project and i always wanted a GT-R so when the right opportunity came i sold it and picked her up. I used to have nissans and ive always liked them and i kinda missed being in the nissan game so i picked up the GT-R for track driving and the S-14 for drifting. I have to say the evo x was easier to drive around the track than the GT-R but this car has so much potential. Ill be making 600whp next month and its all boltons and a e-85 tune + the suspension is amazing from the factory.
The thing about the type of driving that i do is the more money you spend on the car the less you start to enjoy driving it on the track because you have so much invested on it you are afraid that something might happen and it does i cracked lips, got tons of rock chips on my x etc. Im actually thinking of selling the GT-R next year and getting a S2000 CR and keeping it with boltons, suspension, and R compounds, a nice and cheap track car you can run on 17's and save tons of money and you will still have fun on it. Dont get me wrong i love the gt-r but the costs of running it at the track are absurd.
$1800 for R compounds
$800 for tranny oil
$150 for an oil change
$2000 for rotors and they wear quickly when you track your car
$500 for pads
ETC. costs are scary.
Yeah well those people never owned my car, i owned it and drove it. Why would i be lying, if i had any trouble with it i would tell you ive sold the car already. Only trouble i had was a faulty ecu, a faulty stock turbo, a faulty gas line and those were all mitsus problem. Like i said smart *** complex

Eeeee, id rather buy a shelby gt-500 and put it in storage. Carol shelby is old and once he passes away im sure that cars value will sky rocket. Plus its a nice piece of history i can pass on to my kids... when i have them lol. Im sure mitsu will go back to making the evo in a few years when they realize its the only good car they had and maybe then ill pick one up again because it is such a great car unless its a hybrid or something.

Negative nancy!
All cars are built for a purpose... Some are built for drifting which requires rwd, some are made to go fast in a 1/4 mile for example american cars and high powered awd cars, some are made for rallying which also requires awd. You talk about ignorance yet know nothing....How ironic. Everything you have said so far in this forum has not been productive.
The ft-86 is supposed to be available with the sti engine imagine the power that car could half considering it probably weighs a ton less than the evo x or sti.
Here are similar car dimensions this car is tiny so it should be fast.
FT86:
Length: 163.78 inches / Width: 69.29 inches / Height: 48.19 inches / Wheelbase: 101.18 inches
AE86:
Length: 168.7 inches / Width: 64 inches / Height: 52.6 inches / Wheelbase: 94.5 inches / Weight: 2094
Genesis coupe:
Length: 182.3 inches / Width: 73.4 inches / Height: 54.5 / Wheelbase: 111 inches
370Z:
Length: 167.2 inches / Width: 72.8 inches / Height: 51.8 inches / Wheelbase: 100.4 inches / Weight: 3,359
Civic coupe:
Length: 175.5 inches / Width: 68.9 inches / Height: 55 inches / Wheelbase: 104.3 inches
Scion tC coupe:
Length: 174 inches / Width: 69.1 inches / Height: 55.7 inches / Wheelbase: 106.3 inches / Weight: 2905lbs (manual) - 2970 (auto)
S2000:
Length: 162.7 inches / Width: 68.9 inches / Height: 50 inches / Wheelbase: 94.5 inches
