I know nothing of spark plugs, only that they hurt me when I touch them I assume that the plugs the dealership gave me are irridium. If not, can I go to the local autozone and get them or do I have to order them?

You aren't going to find the iridium plugs that the IX's require at autozone, o'reilly's, etc... Buy them online. Extremepsi.com has them in stock (Denso Iridiums) and ready to ship out quick for $45-50 bucks for a set of 4. Thats a good price. (stock Iridium NGKs are 140 bucks!) Also they have stock, 1 step colder, 2 step colder heat ranges to choose from. I suggest going 1 step colder for any setup more than stock turbo on bolt ons. Don't do the 2 step colder, its too much. The VIIIs can get away w/ NGK copper plugs which are wayyy cheaper. (lucky bastards)

EVO 8 guys, use NGK PBR8ES which is one step colder than stock and copper, very inexpensive plug and should be gapped to .022 to fight spark blowout. They'll likely come wider.

EVO 9 guys, use factory Iridiums (don't know part number but they are expensive as hell) or Denso IKH24 one step colder Iridiums and much less expensive, again, need to be gapped to .022
