I'm looking into buying an Evo that is located in Austin, Texas. I live in south florida, so it's a bit difficult of a transaction because I can't go check out the car and then make a decision. So I was wondering, and this may be a long shot, If there is anyone in austin texas that can check it for me on my behalf. If there's anyone willing, please pm me. I would be very appreciative.

 

you should post this up in the regionals section around the texas area. im sure someone out there would love to do it for a case of beer or something haha.

I bought mine from a dealer out of state and it arrived needing a clutch.

 

I'm in Dallas, pay me mileage and I'll go check it out I'm sure you could find someone in Austin to check it out though, check the South and NTEC sections.

 

Ill fly in from VA to inspect it for you... I'll even take it to the track right after you sign the papers for some fun, fun, fun

Same thing just happened to me bought my evo 9 like 3 weeks ago and Im getting my clutch installed on tuesday
SHIAAT SUCKS!

 

Don't get discouraged about buying an out-of-state car though, I bought my car from Michgan and couldn't be happier! Just make sure what you think you're getting is actually what you're getting. I considered the weekend to go get my car a vacation and wasn't afraid to walk away from the deal if it wasn't exactly what I expected.
