yea,plus from my observation everything i goto midnight madness oct-nov seem to be the busier months,not as hot but not too cold. plus i know for sure by then ill have my car done

 

2nd for another event this year. even if its not the annual shootout. Summer events are harsh, part of the reason why I like the fact that ifo comes to houston every JAN. for the most part .

Night racing is fun, but sun is good for the track, if its not a million deg outside already.

Maybe think about hosting it in baytown next time? home of the countries fastest 1/4 times .

 

had fun at the shootout, it was hot for sure! the guy that worked the light tree said the track temps were around 140 deg, so I bet IAT's were crazy!

 

thanks for having a good event, learn from it and make the next one bigger. as a whole the event ran smoothly, i can not complain. i would have liked to run joaquin's car in the final....car has crazy mph........probably would have run me down before the 1000' mark. i need to find a good tranny, i was unable to use any of 5th gear so coasting from before the 1000' mark to the end made me feel left out, i would like to have become one of these exclusive 10 second evos here in san antonio! you guys had a great showing, wish there were more spectators, and hurry up with that black mamba!

 

Thanks for the event! My face got burned, stock clutch went out, but I got myself a trophy barely winning the street class event lol. My car wouldn't start the day off and I almost didn't go. I know the heat + father's day had a lot to do with it, but it was all still worth it!

it was definately HOT as hell, but it was fun. Thanks Jorge/JMS for hosting the event. Everyone was having issues w/ their cars though and all the larger framed turbo guys barely running 11s all day =/ (incl us) of all the cars Inline brought... it was the stock turbo evo8 that took 2nd place in pro-street, LOL. Go figure! i personally loved all the Galant VR4s that showed up!
