Austin Evos running Exedy twins or QM twin...
PM or reply back, I'd like to meet up and talk to you about your clutch...looking to purchase one very shortly.
Thanks!
Matt
Thanks!

I don't have any experience with either, but Jorge @ JMS Racing has been using the QM I think for a while now, he would be a good person to talk to about it. I plan on going with that clutch, heard a lot of good stuff about it.
the exedy twin is a far better clutch for a daily driven car. however, it is also more expensive, prone to the retainer clip popping off, not as strong and not nearly as light weight.
the QM is grabby (as to be expected with a really strong clutch), its very loud, extremely light (this can cause issues with idling, especially if you have boost leaks), it is a push style clutch so no more retainer popping off problems. its priced better then the exedy and is a lot stronger. although were not exactly close to austin, we have a bunch of evos up here daily driving the QM. in our race car it is fantastic, rev matching is made a lot easier!!

Yeah I do daily it but I don't hate it you get really use to it and my work is only 5 minutes away with no heavy traffic LOL and yes we are scheduled to do way more I am looking for 400's on that dyno.
Thanks Kev and others, the big issue is the wife driving the Evo when she's tired of driving the family car and wants to zip around. If I make it too hard for her to drive she'll stop letting me work build it up.
According to the last DLL I was at 592hp and 485 tq and the ACT in there finally started slipping. My pump tune of 470 and 415 it holds great with 0 issues but I have the lock out. It appears even though the cost is a bit more the triple is the easiest for her (the wife) to acclimate to without killing the Evo (another issue is her learning also and burning it up on a clutch that grabby). Thanks for the input, now I just need to find a twin needing a rebuild
