New Mexico evo owners check in here.
I don't know where or who your source is, but they are 100% incorrect. he tuned my evo when I had it numerous times. Infact I was the first evo he ever tuned. He does a GREAT job. Never once have I heard of anyone being dissatisfied with his tunes. He does everything in his power to tune it the way you want ti to be done. As for the flexibility issue you had with him, he does work fulltime at intel and has a family and does tuning on the side. probably why. but either way when I get another evo or subaru he will be the only one touching my car.
Cam is a VERY VERY busy guy. as Will said, tuning is a side thing. not his priority in any means. in the same respect he doesnt have to tune your car its his choice, not an obligation. CamTuning puts down solid tunes everytime and has MANY satisfied customers in the ABQ area. rare to see an Evo or Sti without a CamTuning sticker.
CAMTUNING FTMFW!!!
CAMTUNING FTMFW!!!
Is it rare to not see an evo or sti without a Camtuning decal cuz he's that good or the only show in town? I understand he's busy and all that. I had my ten tuned by him last month I was just turned of by him with my first experience. Like I told will I'll tell you calm down. It wasn't an attack on your boy cam it was something I dealt with and heard and I was curious if anyone else dealt with that.
Hell yea! This baby is sick! Theres not alot i can do to it cause its perfect and has all the mods i wanted to add to it! only thing i can think to add to it is a vortex generator.. other than that i have to think hard as ever! Dave knows his ****!
Curious for you guys who picked up your evo's in Texas. Did you have to have a retune right away to compensate for the altitude and us having 90/91 octane vs 93 octane in Texas? Just don't wanna damage the engine right when I get to NM.
I didnt get my EVO from TX...however I was stationed in Oregon for a while and when I got back here I did have to re-tune my EVO for this elevation and fuel since Portland is sea level and the use 93 octane. My car ran fine here in Alb, but I got it re-tuned just in case and to be safe.
What's up guys! I'm visiting from orange county ca and was looking out for evos here in Santa fe and albuqurque but only saw 1. went to sandia peak yesterday as well as saw alb's downtown and old town. Very nostalgic places although the downtown was dead. Love the fact that you all have e85. Gassed up my flex fuel rental car on it. Going to Taos and Chimayo today I hope to see more evos today.
