A guy at motiva does tuning as well but his name slips my mind right now. Cam didn't seem too knowledgeable about evos when I spoke to him and that made me a little nervous but that may have changed. Have you given any consideration to any email tunes?

 

The Guy you are thinking of is Eric from sqcreations I believe. He doesn't actually work for motiva. Just uses there dyno for tuning.

Lol. Of course. Cameron is a great friend of mine and he has tuned my previous builds and has tuned many of my friends rides. He does a great job, is competitively priced and is dedicated to getting your tune correct. You wont find a better tuner in Albuquerque than Cameron...

Ive heard he tunes until he it knocks and then dials it back. Is that true and is it common practice? The only experience I've had with cam wasn't very good he was very inflexible.

 

Definitely not true. He tunes very conservative actually(DD tune) where as most tuners tune more aggressive to make the most power.

 

I don't know where or who your source is, but they are 100% incorrect. he tuned my evo when I had it numerous times. Infact I was the first evo he ever tuned. He does a GREAT job. Never once have I heard of anyone being dissatisfied with his tunes. He does everything in his power to tune it the way you want ti to be done. As for the flexibility issue you had with him, he does work fulltime at intel and has a family and does tuning on the side. probably why. but either way when I get another evo or subaru he will be the only one touching my car.
