My story with my new Evo

I am new too the EVO site and to the EVO as far as owning one. I have always wanted a EVO since they came to the states. I finally got one I will post pics. Anyways I bought one that at least had the block that I wanted in it which is the AMS 2.3L Stroker, and a big turbo which is a PTE 67mm dbb. So I just want to tell you a little about what I been through since I got it. Learning more and more about the car I enjoy everyday. Bought the car which is scary fast when I first got it but needed work bad was not a daily driver for sure. Idle was crazy, car was stalling, and it was hard to shift. Pretty much car was only driving OK when going fast. I knew it needed work done because of this and if you looked at the setup under the hood you would of known also. I knew something was wrong with the setup. There were wires spliced everywhere, no room in engine bay just packed with bleep everywhere. Oil was getting all over from the oil catch can on wires and just making it look sloppy. The filter was just spitting out oil because it was so backed up with sludge. I got video hope I can post it. Fuel lines ran wrong fuel regulator just hanging a mess you get what I am saying hopefully. So ran into JMS at the Import ShowOff in San Antonio, Texas. Lots of customers supporting them out there and they had the sickest EVO's. Just when I am about to go up to race Jorge from JMS comes to my car and takes a look at my car and gives me respects and comments. Tells alittle about himself and what he can do for my car. I knew I had a good car but something was wrong. My first time dragging I got a 12.6 right. Keep in mind it was my first time so I knew I had a fast car when I was getting decent times and catching up. So looked into JMS heard they were good and worked on pretty much DSM's but sure they work on anything. I took my car there which was a two hour drive which was worth it. The employees at JMS are awesome and professional in what they do. I pretty much got a totally different car back and didn't loose any power. Ran so much better and its some much more enjoyable to drive. Idles like stock and pulls like a beast. If you keep in touch you will see the results videos pics etc. Jorge at JMS did the tune and the guy is great and he is just getting better at what he does. The mechanics there don't take short cuts or try to take your money. (they support the soldiers i.e. discounts) And if your driving far they will compensate for you travel. Awesome crew treat you like you been going there for ever like they know you. If you don't know something they will explain and show you. I am telling it was a great experience and now my car is getting better and faster.
