Houston Evo owners - Dynoflash?
Just curious, are you guys actually wanting dyno tunes now? You do realize that one could never be as accurate as a street tune. Often when boost is set on a dyno it must be readjusted for the street. This puts too many variables in the mix for me. Just seems like that defeats the purpose of detailed tuning for higher boost if you have to adjust it afterwards. I dislike dynos and doubt if I will ever have my vehicle tuned on one again unless, hypothetically in the hands of a Mr. Buschur and he refused to do a street tune, but even then I would fight for one
. For measurement purposes I have nothing against dynos but personally I will be using forms other than dyno in order to documenting my gains due to my financial situation.

It all comes down to ecomonics
I tune on the street for several reasons
It takes me about 2 hours on the average to dial in an Evo - with strapping and unsrapping its up to 3 hours per
If you pay by the hour for dyno time - its going to cost a lot of loot and does not help me tune any better
The street tune is just as effective as a dyno tune - in fact if anything the tune is more accurate on the street. It takes a great deal of learning and practice to learn how to make a dyno load accurately enough to simulate closely real world conditions. It can be done - but tuning on the road is really the best method.
finally - I query if this turbochargers.com dyno is the one which shiv talked about being so lacking in ventilation the cars would miss fire due to lack of o2 and it was a toxic nightmare to breath in all that smoke??????? If that IS the case - there is NO WAY - I will be spending a whole day tuning in there - my lungs won;t take it
My suggestion is get the street tune done and then head over there for a quick pull or two to see where you are at
If we need to move guys around in time to get the guys who need dyno sheets done earlier - I am willing - thanks

Al,
If you read this before you actually get out of your hotel and tune...
I'll be stopping by tonight, but time constraints will not let me get a custom tune tomorrow (Saturday). I guess I just have to settle for your instant flash. Anyways, my mods are as follows:
3 inch turbo back w highflow cat
264/272 HKS cams
16G-10.5 (not like the EVO VII, VIII, or USDM 16G-9.8)
MBC
HKS SSQV
AEM Cone intake
Id really prefer a custom tune, specially for my 10.5 ex turbo, and Im sure a lot of people would want to see results from this as well (maybe it can get replicated by porting).
Anyways, Ill see you tonight!!! Enjoy the TX weather (I am)....
