Awesome, I'm originally from Houston but have been all over the place for the last 9 years. Unfortunately, I am in Eastern NC...and not the nice part. I can't wait to get back to TX.

 

Ya, I moved from the Raleigh Durham area. My situation is pretty much the same. I used to live here in Austin and for the past 10 years I have been moving around up to VA a few places then to NC and now back here. I am glad to be back. Being away for 10 years made me forget how hot and dry it is here, especially living in NC. It seemed like it rained every week there. But, I have only been back here for about a month and I am used to it again.

 

What time is the cars and coffee on the second sunday at the oasis? I am going to plan to go there in August. I would like to see a good turn out on Evo's there. Not sure how it usually is but I used to go to a cars and coffee in NC and only a couple Evo's would show up.

 

The Oasis cars n coffee usually goes from 11-2pm give or take. Most of the time the Oasis cars are more high end exotics, but you do have all ranges of cars in the mix. It is always a good time for me.

 

Barring any unforeseen catastrophes I will make it to the August oasis cars and coffee meet.

 

I'll be there if others are going

This might be a little off topic, but the new HEB at Mueller (on 51st about a mile east of I-35) sells E-85.

 

I will be moving to austin early next year if that counts lol.

I made it out to Austin last weekend...I never want to drive a moving truck that far again. I saw a GG X with AMS intercooler and what looked to be an HKS Hi Power exhaust yesterday just outside my neighborhood. It was a little weird seeing a car so similar to mine. I just got an SES light yesterday but I should be able to make it out to the CnC Oasis meet on the 11th.

 

I live in Cedar Park myself. I've seen a few Evo's around, not a whole ton. There was a silver 8 with carbon front fenders, a yellow 8 with a stock fmic, and a black one with the do-luck cf trunk I see around Cedar Park about once a week. I usually try to wave down fellow owners when I see them

 

anyone going to first thursday at Cobb this week?
