Texas Tuners?

My buddy is in Midland, but doesn't mind a drive for his protune. Just curious to your guys opinions on the best/closest tuners?

Thanks

Cobb Tuning in Plano, TX
EvoD in Lewisville, TX

I personally have my car tuned by Cobb, but both shops have done numerous Evos.

JMS in San Antonio is the best imo. He tuned plenty of my friends cars and even mine. Great customer service and pricing.

Jms is the shop to go to IMO. They are very knowlegable of there cars and they explain everything to the customer. My buddy had his Subaru tuned and Jms kept him updated after each pull in 93 and e85.

I wouldnt go to cobb in plano even for a free tune. Last time I took a car there they screwed it up, goes in gets built motor comes out with less than stock power and they cant figure out why, week later its leaking oil everywhere.... and they didn't care....

and Kracka I think I was there one of the times you went in for a tune.

I would have to say +1 for JMS Racing San Antonio.

- Very good customer service (before, during and after the sale)
- Very good advice
- Decent prices
- Willing to work with the customer to make the best of what they want and willing to tell you NO when it wont!

I was very happy with KevinD @ Evolution Dynamics. Dallas is a bit of a drive (esp. with no cruise control), but it was worth it. I had them do my clutch install, and also had the 3-port GM boost solenoid installed with a tune.
