Dallas area

Next month I'll be moving to the Dallas area from Florida. Most likely I'll be living In Richardson or Plano so my question is where are the hangout spots.

Also how hard is it to pass emissions there. We don't have emissions in Florida so it's something I was never concerned about however since I have a decent amount of work done I figured I should inquire
