TWS track/road course event in June

Next Drivers Edge event is in June. Anyone going to attend to see what you can do in the Evo?

I want to go but need to prep my car for the track. My car is no where near being a track car. I need to get it ready.

wow....that looks like fun. I've always wanted to run at Texas World Speedway. But i think i'm going to need some more AutoX practices before i'm ready. So tempting...........

Someone once told me that good autocrossers make good road course racers. The same doesn't go true the other way around. I'd definitely get good at autocross before going out to the road courses at high speeds.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but we need 2 more people to get the special group rate for next weekend's Motorsports Club event at TWS.

You don't need AutoX practice, just go. The spirit of the event is to learn to drive fast in a safe manner, where 'learn' is the key word. Imagine yourself on the track at 140+mph on the straight...

Besides, there are 5 run groups: white, red, yellow, blue and green. First timers/novices would run in green. Green drivers are the busiest out there, since they've got classes to attend also...so why wait?

I'll be there. Clockwise rocks, real nice flow to it...
