Hey Jack...

I live over in the Legends. I think I have seen you around in your EVO. Very Nice car! I have also seen a BBY EVO that has blue neon lights under his car with exhaust. That car looks awsome as well. Anyway, once I get me EVO we should hook up. I am also looking to get an APEX Silver but still am thinking about black.

Talk to you later.

I bought mine from Huggins Mitsu in NRH. Good experience.

I'd say that's a pretty good deal. I got 4.99% financing for 72 months on mine.

The MSRP on those was $30,182. Do you mean you got it down to invoice price? If so, I don't think anyone in the Metroplex is going to go much below invoice--that is, not without a lot of dealership games ("checking with the manager", you walking out on the deal, etc). Some places in the U.S. would've a couple of months ago, but probably not anymore.

That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Don't know what you need, and you shouldn't get it just because you want an Evo. The deal's got to make sense to you financially. But I don't know that you'll do much better anywhere else. Worth a shot though. I don't think the silver one is going anywhere for a while.

Also, good luck getting one in black. They had to ship mine in from Tulsa, and it already had 541 miles on it--and a lot of problems to boot. You will have to pay to have the car shipped in if you're negotiating a price at or near invoice. Let us know what happens.

Thats funny they had to ship my black one in as well, from San Antonio I think. Mine came with 7 miles on it, and did cost me $200 extra for shipping. I Had to have black though so it was worth it.

I picked up my EVO last night form Lewisville Mitsubishi. Was able to get a the deal I wanted. This is one awsome car! However, I have not been able to take it past 4500 RPM's due to the break-in period. I believe the car is beginning to grow on my wife so she is coming around to excepting the car. Anyway I just want to give a shout out and thank everyone for all their input.

Hey, man I was there last night. Was that (formerly) your white 3kGT?

Also, did you go with the silver? Congratulations on the purchase.

Hey Geg, yes that was my 3000gt. I went with the Apex Silver. I saw a black Evo parked so that must have been you. Nice ride! I thought for a moment that they were getting a new one in. Having a hard time keeping it under 4500 RPM'S but know it must be done and worth it in the end.

I had a very hard time with my break-in so I just took a couple days off of work and got mine to 1000 miles in 4 days. If it would have taken any longer I don't think I'd have been able to hold back. Good luck, and welcome!

I financed for 72 months. This was the only way to get the payment down to $480. Total finance was around $29600.

$34,560 is much better than a "deal" a particular dealer was being quite annoying about saying thats the best you can find. $42k - 60mos at 700/mo. Didn't want to answer any questions like what were they giving me on my trade, or interest rate. Was the most surreal and frustrating 20 mins of my life. That's ok, they pissed me off enough to help me wait this past year. So are you going to bering that new ride out to the any track events? Like the one this weekend June 5th and 6th out at Motorsport Ranch?
