Best DFW Dealer

Hello everyone.

I am getting ready to purchase an Evo but was curious to see which DFW dealer offers to best deals and customer service. I have gone to Lewisville Mitsubishi and they seem to be a good choice but was wanting to know your experience.

Also, if anyone has new information on the MR that would also help. I was going to wait until the end of the year for the MR but heard they may not come until summer 05. I can't wait that long. Need a 4-door car. Cannot fit a car seat in the back of a 3000gt.

I've had pretty good experiences with Lewisville Mitsu. I had a hard time with my salesman, but I don't think he's there anymore (because of me), and the sales manager was very fair. I got my '03 for about $200 over invoice--I'm sure they'd be willing to do that with a yellow one that's been up there a while. Service center is good too--I've had clutch trouble since I got the car, and they've done a lot of warranty work for me; not that my problems shouldn't be warranty work, but that's generally not the way Mitsu does things... Pretty mod friendly also. They offered to install an ACT clutch in my old Eclipse. That was a couple of years ago, and they're under new management now. But they still seem to be easy to work with. No experience with other metroplex dealers, so I can't offer any alternatives.

Hope that helps a little.

I bought from Frank Parra and did most of the deal over the phone (I was in Waco at the time) and they were awesome to deal with. I went back to turn in my customer service survey and got a free tank of gas and they even remembered my name when I pulled up unexpected.

I got an amazing price and they can get what ever color you want (03) and they treat you right.

DO NOT do business with Don Herring in Plano. That was my first try and they just gave me the run-around. Tried to sell me the Dallas Auto Show model and it did not have the options I wanted and they wouldn't even give me a deal because of that... not to mention the no call-backs

Thanks Greg for the info. I am planning on going up to Lewisville Mitsubishi this weekend to see what kind of deal they can offer me on the Silver Evo if they still have it. I have taken my 3000GT there several times for service and they have offered good service and customer care.

Take care.

I bought mine from Rick Massey at Lewisville Mitsu and have to say it's the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. They are very friendly and went out of their way to take care of me. Hey if you end up buying from them make sure you deal with Rick as he's easily the nicest of the bunch and was very straight foward. Also if you say John with the black evo sent you I'll split the $100 referral bonus with you.

My good friend with a 1995 3000gt SL just traded it in there for a red Evo and they gave him $600 over kelly blue book value. It took just a little haggling but they got it done. You even get a $500 loyalty bonus since you have a mitsu already.

Went to Lewisville Mitsu this afternoon to get stuff out of my car. The yellow one was gone, but they did still have the silver one, and a new red one that hasn't been there for long. Neither had a sunroof, but they both have the wing on them. Don't know how important the roof is to you, my3000gt. Let us know what you decide on!!

Thanks everyone for your input! I will be making my way over to Lewisville Mitsubishi tomorrow to see what kind of deal I can get. The Apex Silver Evo sounds like the same one I test drove several week ago. I actually don't want a sun roof so that is good. I have had SR in the last two cars that I bought and I never use it. I will let you know if I join the Evo family...

I bought at Frank Parra and the experience was great. I also went to Lewisville Mitsu and they were very professional, but didn't give me near the trade-in dollars I got from FP. Good luck!

yeah, do not go don hearring mitsu. They promised me that I could get the car the same day I signed the contract, but I got the car nearly two weeks later. I should have bought Toyota Matrix instead. also, they never fixed a thing that under wannaty; I feel like having a car without wannaty.......so, do not go there!

I got my lancer from Lewisville Mitsu. But I didn't really shop around the Mitsu dealerships for it. :P I drooled at the 5 evo's they had there at the time, but yeah. Anyway.

I went to talk with the guy who sold me the car and he was almost trying to brush me off. I understand he has to get back to work. But I had to ask him a few things about the evo. I'm almost hoping he's not there anymore because he didn't seem too interested in selling Mitsubishi's at all anymore. But whatever.

The other guys there that worked with me were always very nice, though. THe sales manager, etc. I got my Lancer's price for about the same as one without a sunroof, and diff colour. So I was excited :P The sales manager had a daughter who goes to the same school as I, and he saw me in the hallway after a pep rally and stopped and asked me how my car was doing. Knew my name and everything. /me shrugs. Was something I certainly didn't expect :P

I went to Lewisville Mitsubishi yesterday but they could not meet my requirements. However, tell me if this is a good deal. They offered $4500 for my 95 3000GT. I need 3,500 of that back to pay off bills and they would use the rest for down payment. Monthly payment would be $480 for 72 months. They were trying to sell the EVO for $30K but was able to get it down to MSRP. I may go over the Huggins Mitsu in NRH. I went there when the EVO was release last year and they were offering them at MSRP and seemed to be willing to work with you more then Lewisville.
