I know ya RoundPro. I was just wondering which Evo owner it is involved with this match that has a membership at MSR. I know 3. You and Silver Surfer with Silver Evos, and another with a yellow Evo that I'm not sure if he is on these forums. I heard your car is handling very very nicely today from guys at the shop. Are you going to use the yokohama slicks on the 25th?

I welcome all to come out, but I want to clarify that RoundPro and I dicussed the bet, but did not nail down specifics prior to me agreeing with this other guy. The bet only applies to the guy that I agreed to specifics with on the 25th. Not only that, based on what this guy has told me, he is most closely matched around the track with my previous performances and has the best chance of success.

If you're going to bring out Brice's car, by all means, but don't think your Focus stands a chance unless you have the V8 conversion, then you'd still probably lose. I can only fit 2 people in my car like most proper sports cars.

Heh, well, I guess my fathers 911TT does not count as a proper sports car then. We used to race around with 3-4 people in it.

Prowler, notice I said 'MOST' in my comment. I think the 911, though it has a backseat, qualifies as a sports car, though it really is a borderline GT.

Hopefully we'll be able to really seperate the men from the girls.. Nothing like MSR in the pouring rain!

Cute ZX3. Well, we've already stipulated that there will be no bet or timed laps in the rain as one of the ONLY advantages the Evo has over a Vette is it's AWD. I've run MSR in the rain on my Z06 wheels/tires and it's horrible. Car had ZERO grip. It was hydroplaning on Hwy. 377 at 55mph on the way over with no standing water. It was pretty iffy at best.

This is funny..... I had a feeling rain would be on the forcast for race day. Maybe the Evo can spot you a lap on a 30 minute session to even it out !!!

I don't know of any one who can pop out there with just half a couple hours notice, like now. Usually need a few days advance warning to clear things. Well hopefully tonight something will pop up and this will go down. I guess the corner carver nay sayers were right. - Probably not gonna happen. That sucks.
