Shops in D/FW area
I currently live in coppell in the dfw area and recently got a degree in art (metal fabrication)
I was wondering what kind of shops there are in this area. The only one i know of is wasabi racing in carrollton (used to be ctc motorsports)...
any info. im in the market for an evo and would love to come see some nice ones in my area. just let me know.

i have heard some bad things about alamo. not so sure why. wasabi just got an awd dyno and a few cnc machines and there wrx is real nice it has a reall gool graphics scheme and ran an 11.2 before they yanked the engine. i guess ill go check out alamo and see whats up there. has anybody had experiences, good or bad, with them?

Yeah, they pulled out like 6 cars out of the garage one day so I that I could do a dyno run, even though they were extremely busy.
I'm not sure I'd pick a shop based on the stickers on their car.

oh im not looking to get work done, i am looking for a place where i can work. The sticker on the car was just a side not as it is just very interesting. The rest is all go. its in full race trim. Just a big silly godzilla type sticker for a little show. And the engine bay is airbrushed like the inside of its mouth. I was an art major so i like it to look god too and this was just unique. and i am psyched that the first thread i ever started is getting big. I want 2 pages. its kinda like radio. long time listener first time caller. so there are only 2 or 3 places in dfw then?
Go with Alamo. I just bought a complete turbo back exhaust, cold air-intake, and turbo timer from them. I was very pleased with their service and prices. They've pretty much worked on all of my cars over the years from two vw golfs, one nitrous fed civic, and my current evo. They even did an oil change on my first sportbike a couple of years ago for a couple of hot dogs and cokes from Winersnitzel or whatever the place up the street is called which saved me all kinds of money at the time.

LOL... Kory... You have to say that...
Anyways, I have had good service from Alamo for years. No complaints... Although just now I realized I left my stock exhaust up there months ago.. I'm hoping it's still around...
Bryce (the owner) is a good guy with a kick *** EVO..
