Was wanting to know if there was any evo owners in the anniston/oxford area of alabama. my dad lives there and i'm coming down to visit. i will be there 11/18/04-11/21/04. anybody in that area leave a post and maybe you could show me somethings in that area. i dont know anything to do in that area. Last time i was there my truck was in a tv show that my dad is the host of "BIG BOYS TOYS" He wants my car to be on it now that is why im coming down!!

 

you should have evo's in that show too. I'll drive down there for it.

hey i live in anniston, i'm down by the 188 exit as plokivos said. i've seen that show on tv, i didn't know they put imports on there? yeah i can show u around, it will only take about 5 min LOL. there's not much to do here but if u want to race we could get a group up to go to steele. i think there is a need for some rematches for a few evos that now have nice new clutches .

he put my truck on there to try and get more viewers. there ratings on that show have been the best yet. now he wants to try it with an import on there!!!! another reason im coming down is that he is a member of a vette club and thinks he will whip my car. he is in for a rude awakening!! he rode in my car before i had any mods!! how many evo's are in the area. my dad lives off exit 188 also!! he mention a community center close by. when i went down last time i took exit 185 but i guess 188 is new

no 188 is not new just growing. as for other Evos in the area, i'm it really. ryan is about 25min away, i have a friend about 45min away and then there are a couple in b-ham. thats pretty much it.

 

i'm only an hour and a half away.

 

so what cars in the area are fast. is there alot of imports or domestic? here in NC we have a mix of both. we have alot of honda's that think when they put a muffler and intake on there car they are fast. it's so funny i like to turn my boost down to around 10psi and play with them!!

 

i guess u could say we have a mix here. u have ur usual rice, but they never even try to mess w/ me. then u have some pretty fast domestics. there r a few fast imports here like a twin turbo supra thats here. my friend also has a NSX that is pretty quick too. not much really, and as far as a street racing scene there's nothing. u have to go to ATL or b-ham for that. not that i street race or anything
