Dyno in Fayetteville, NC
Just to give you all a heads-up, I've heard through the grapevine that a shop here in Fayette'Nam is setting up an AWD Dynojet. I will withold the name and location of the shop until I can confirm or deny this rumor. But cross your fingers brothas and sistas, this will save a long trip out of state for tuning!
no it doesn't. you can bring whoever you want with you to tune it. all you need them for is their dyno services. this would be excellent. 45 minutes is much better than 6 hours to either VA or GA.

there's a guy in raleigh that's a wizard with the ems. he could easily go with you to fayetteville. he has gone to GA with a friend of mine to tune his evo on a dyno more than once. i'm just sayin that having an in house certified aem tuner is the least of our worries. just having the dyno is good enough for me
There is an AWD dyno in Mooresville, NC, right outside of Charlotte. He doesn't advertise, but you can call him and setup 'runs' on Saturdays. The guy is an SCCA champ, he uses the dyno to tune his WRX. I think that is the only reason he has it.
I think the shop name is Taylor Motorsport, Mooresville, NC on Hwy 150.

That is the link for the above mentioned shop. I've never called them to inquire about their tuning abilities. But since I live in the 'Nam, it makes it that much easier.
But like I said, this is a plus for all of us. Once I can get confirmation of the word, I'll drop the name for you guys.

The guy knows cars pretty well, but he won't help if you don't ask. I would recommend bringing your own, or having one available by phone. If you want, Keith, and i are acquaintances, I can work with him on a group price, if you have a few who want to come. I have two right now that are game, we would just need a few more.
As for rumors, he worked with me one saturday, as much or as little as I liked. He knows Evos pretty well from the others that come there, but if you are looking for a dyno to put up huge numbers, the Mustang isn't it, it's friction rate is a touch higher than most, about .16, instead of .13, but you can beat your car in 'track' like simulations, including running quarter mile, or off exit corner pulls like on open-track. He worked there for over 2 hours, and negotiated a price, rather than the fixed one, so he seemed very cool to me.

834 Stanley St.
