Talking Intro from Nebie

Just wanted to intro myself here also since I'm not far from Raleigh, NC.
My name is Wayne.
Although I don't have an evo yet, I hope I could catch up with your group when you meet in a couples weeks, Mar 5, right?
I do have a couple other turbocars. And by the sounds of things, they are all welcome.
I'm anxious to do more research before my purchase.
I missed out on a nice silver one in Raleigh this week. Anyone here know who bought it from Al Smith Mazda?
You're lucky that was a good deal!

Anyway, hope to talk to you soon.

Thanks!

I'm certainly planning on being there. Can't wait to see what some people in the area have done and talk to folks.
That seemed like a good deal from what I saw in the ad. Too bad the car wasn't there when I wanted to go look. Next time I guess I'll call right away.
I didn't realize it would be so hard to find one.

All different types of turbocars are welcome, right?

Smile

you're right. They are around. The easiest way to to ask around on these forums, but then you all know about the cars and what they are worth. (that can be both good and bad).
I'm enjoying learning alot about them from peoples' posts.

I'll only have my Dodge for the 5th, but it looks like I'll have an evo soon enough.
And I can't wait. It's going to be a long couple weeks though!

Thanks again for the welcome!

True. But when it was advertised for thousands cheaper than any other in the area (about 200 miles...) then it was worth looking at.
I figured maybe they didn't know what they had. That happens sometimes with off brands at dealers.

Anyway, it was sold when I called two days after seeing the ad.
It was a bummer, but I didn't want silver anyway.

they were asking $20980 with 17k miles. Looks like it had triple gauges and an Alpine stereo from the pics.
