Ready for this? I was comming home from Lauderdale last night at 11:30 on 1-95. North of Copans. I had been at the awards banquet with one of the clubs I race with.I got pulled over doing 89 in a 65!!!
Officer (FHP) walks up to the car, asked if I knew what the speed limit was and I said "65 Sir".
Drivers licence, registration, and insurance were next. He looked at them for 10 seconds, handed them back and said "You can go"
Wow, a traffic stop for speeding that lasted 2 minutes and didn't cost a thing. I guess it was the look on my face at the 89mph. I couldn't really believe I was going that fast. Must be getting slow.
I was also running with a friend from the banquet in his S2000 and we were going a little quicker than that.
Guess that I got really lucky on this one. Needless to say, I took it easy the rest of the way. I know how the radios work.
A little respect for the officers can go a long way.

It was that he had never seen a space ship before!!!
Good meet, but we were a little short on LANCERS!!! Where was everybody??? 
It wasn't that cold. Besides they invented this thing called a jacket about 3000 years ago. I figured everybody had one by now.

Anyway after I left you guys at the Dolphin Mall, I went over to the 441 hangout in North Miami and l saw a silver EVO there that will give Nick a run for his money both in show and go. It was tricked out the max. I told him about our Lancer meets and he wants to go the the next one. He also wants to go the day meet at Markham park, he said he'll ride out with us.
BTW his name is Steve and he's from North Carolina.
