My first Galant - I was doing like 25 mph and a stolen Toyota Cressida ran a stop sign and smashed into my drivers door - they got out and ran!
I was lucky to walk out without a scratch - I was behind the drivers seat (mom's car) 15 minutes later.

The Isuzu pick up - I came around a bend on the 79 st causeway and like you Pervy - an idiot Miami driver stopped in the bend. I was just able to stop behind like 3 cars. I looked in the mirror in horror as this Isuzu Amogo came barreling around the corner behind me and could not stop in time. I still have flashbacks when I stop suddenly in traffic!

it actually takes alot to ruffel my feathers on the road. Even being cut off and crappy drivers - almost nothing bothers me (except the F'n law) I see it as survival of the fittest - you just gotta be sharp.

... then there is just plain bad luck ... but that's another story

right MK?!

Yes that's the one (along with the 91 SE-R) that I miss the most. It was black with black leather 400 hp.

it's also the one that cost me the most to own - at one time it was sitting for months waiting on centeforce to warranty the clutch - which is why I had to say goodbye. But I drove that car like It was meant to be driven 160 mph!

alot of these cars were owned 2-3 at a time and I actually had that TT Z just before the Sentra ( actually had both together at one time) I had both '90 300 ZX's at the same time as well 1 black 1 red - I had pics with both of em - somewhere.

I think I'm addicted, Last 4 Cars Mitsu's
Speaking of crashes, that car saved my life... Very sturdy. Took a hit on the driver's side door from some idiot doing 70+ northbound on Red Road. I'm coming out of a parking lot making a left and the right lane stops to let me out. I look and see no one coming, pause to look right and merge and that's when I heard the screeching of tires. It was another 1st gen DSM with some idiot driving. He left skidmarks that were three or four storefronts long and hit and then spun me around 270 degrees. I was actually pinned to the center console. I had to squirm out and even take the leg off to to get out of the car.

I got a ticket for failure to yield, he did not get a ticket for speeding.

A couple of months later in court I saw the guy on the phone talking to a friend and he couldn't recall which accident he was in court for. Then he claimed he didn't speak english and asked for a translator. When I explained to the judge that I couldn't see this gentleman's car because he was going too fast for that area, he said it didn't matter how fast the other guy was going, it was 100% my fault. Then he went on to insult my driving record because of all my speeding tickets.

To this I replied "If you'll notice my record has been clean for over 6 years. No tickets in six years! All those tickets were in my youth. And all those tickets were for speeding, which as you pointed out right now, according to you, do not contribute to traffic accidents." Everybody in the courtroom chuckled and some of the bailiffs even laughed before he gave them all dirty looks. I got traffic school and no points... At least I'm alive.

The car did get fixed and I did have it for a while longer but the door was never the same. It never did shut right after that. It was a very agile car though and I wonder how well it would have performed at AutoX.

Whoa - tough call. Sometimes you just can't fight the F'n system - just flow around it and keep going.
