I rest my case.Dark tints are usually not a problem in the day - and may actually help vision.
BUT in the night, - beside not being able to see the apex and track out through the door windows until I'm right on top of it - one of the biggest problems is not being able to confirm that there are no pedestrians crossing your path on a corner. This is a serious problem for me at night with tints unless I turn them down - or drive like a granny. neither of which are always desirable.
